UNIC-ART – How Artistic Thinking, Artistic Intelligence, and Speculative Design Can Help

06/03/2025 09:15 - 06/03/2025 17:00

A full afternoon of inspiration, dynamism, and innovative thinking is planned to explores the intersection of artistic methodologies for decision making, communication, and social action while developing hands-on exercises to spark the imagination in ways that go beyond standard workshop practice.

Think about a challenge in your work or social life that you are finding really difficult to address because it appears to complex or too intractable; or think of something you would like to change in your work life: a procedure, a hierarchy, a way of doing things, a structure.

How can artistic methodologies enhance problem-solving, communication, and innovation within education? The UNIC-ART  is a dynamic initiative designed to integrate artistic research methods while exploring challenges, fostering new ideas, and expanding their perspectives.

This whole day through a series of hands-on exercises, interactive interventions, and speculative explorations, this event will introduce creative strategies to:

• Foster improvisation and radical speculation toward new solutions
• Develop empathy and cross-cultural communication
• Express abstract and inexpressible ideas through movement, metaphor, and storytelling
• Strengthen voices and narratives in decision-making processes

Guided by experienced researchers and practitioners, participants will engage in a stimulating and immersive experience that goes beyond conventional academic approaches, embracing creativity as a tool for transformation.

This session is part of UNIC-ART, an initiative within the Thematic Line Arts, Culture and Creativity.
