They enable us to recognise your devices and store certain limited information about you, including your browsing preferences. They help us track certain analytics to improve website experience, and help us optimize services provided on www.unic.eu.

What Cookies do we use? 

This site uses both session cookies (which expire at the end of every browsing session) and persistent cookies, which remain on your device and enable us to remember your actions or user preferences across multiple browsing sessions. There are also limited third-party cookies used on specific pages detailed below.

ESSENTIAL COOKIES
The following cookies enable basic site functionality and are necessary for proper navigation.

• Session Tracker (october_session)
  This cookie is used for identifying the user session by assigning an unique ID for the users. This data is only held for 2 hours.
  
  
• Consent Tracker ( sg-cookies-en-consent)
  This cookie is used to remember your choices regarding the website’s cookie policy. This consent is valid for 6 months. 

FUNCTIONAL AND ANALYTICS COOKIES
These cookies enable analysis of how visitors use the website, and enable us to provide better and more optimized services.

• Google Analytics / Google AdSense (_ga_*, _ga, and _gcl_au)
  Google Analytics sets these cookies to store and count page views, calculate visitor, session and campaign data and track site usage for the site's analytics report. The cookie stores information anonymously and assigns a randomly generated number to recognise unique visitors. This non-personalized data is held for up to 2 years.
  
  
• Youtube (VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC)
  YouTube is a Google owned platform for hosting and sharing videos. YouTube collects user data through videos embedded in websites, which is aggregated with profile data from other Google services in order to display targetted advertising to web visitors across a broad range of their own and other websites. YSC is a session-based cookie, while Visitor Info data is held for six months. These cookies are used as a unique identifier to track viewing of videos, and for their own analytics and advertising purposes.

• Zoho Forms (targeting-cookies, isnew, zfccn, _zcsr_tmp, 383aeadb58)

Zoho Forms is a software solution and mobile app that can be used to create forms for free. We use two embedded Zoho forms, one on the RePIC program page, and the other on the SEOS program page, for an opt-in request for more information. zfccn is a session-based security cookie that prevents cross-site identity forgery. 383aeadb58 is used to track required info fields. The other cookies track click-throughs for analytics purposes, and are all session based.

Third-Party Cookies

The UNIC website uses the following third-party cookies:

• Google: We use Google Analytics to track website performance.
• Youtube: Certain website pages may contain Youtube video embeds that have analytics trackers.
• Zoho: Two website pages contain embedded Zoho forms that are opt-in for additional information.
