With the Guggenheim as its cornerstone, the transformation of Bilbao has revolved, to a large extent, around Culture. Thus, both locals and visitors can find different cultural alternatives among which, and in a few kilometers around, avant-garde projects stand out. Culture and creativity industries as well as the conservation of heritage have become core elements in the development of the cities. How public, private, social and individual initiatives contribute to this development will be the topic of discussion in the workshop.

There were two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

  • 30 academic staff
  • 30 administrative staff
  • 4 city representatives
