The UNIC CityLab on the topic "From data collector to co-researcher - how to successfully collaborate with society" will take place on November 10, 2022, 10:00-12:00 (CET/UTC +1).
Citizen participation, stakeholder engagement, and open innovation in science are just a few of the buzzwords that scientists and lecturers have recently been confronted with more and more frequently. Learn more about these concepts in this event. What is behind the buzzwords? Is the intensity of involvement variable? Which concept is suitable for which project content and what benefits do they bring for your research or lecture? Join us in taking a deeper look at the different concepts. Experts from different UNIC partner organizations introduce concepts that are well known at their university and will gladly answer your questions.
The event is part of the UNIC4ER; a joint research project of the UNIC partner universities on the topic of Engaged Research. Engaged Research is primarily about the systematic production of knowledge not only for society, but but also with and within society. This includes approaches from community-based research, participatory research, citizen science, and a broad variety of co-design and co-creation methods applied across disciplines.
Coordination: CityLab Team of the Ruhr University Bochum in cooperation with all UNIC4ER partner universities
