Support for students and researchers fleeing conflict or whose country threatens their lives

By adopting this declaration of principles, ULiège undertakes to reaffirm its commitment and its initiatives in favor of the reception and integration of migrant and refugee students on its campuses.

Therefore, it commits to

• facilitating access (administrative and financial) to studies as well as good conditions for success for foreigners;
• supporting the participation of migrants during their academic career;
• raise the awareness of the university community to the realities of migration and improve the visibility of the actions for the reception and integration of migrants carried out by the actors of the university community and beyond;
• to act as an actor in our society by defending the values of non-discrimination and inclusion in a visible, assertive and affirmed manner.

Given the particular context ofUkraine andIran, the University of Liege particularly encourages students and researchers from these countries to come forward.
