In this video, Melinda Russial (University of Oulu) explores the origins of intersectionality in US-American Black Feminism and critically examines the contemporary uses of the concept in Europe. The lecture was held as part of the UNIC Opened Course “Superdiversity. Theoretical Perspectives and Current Research Topics” led by Dr. Daniel Schumann and Prof. Dr. Henrike Terhart (Ruhr University Bochum).
