Through this model, caregivers will be empowered through digital education modules, including the topics of understanding dementia, communication with people living with dementia, understanding behaviors that challenge caregivers, coping skills, and the health of the caregiver. By integrating these components into the program design, we aim to foster caregiver coping skills, and confidence in managing dementia care challenges. Outcome measures will be aligned with the model components, assessing changes in caregivers' knowledge levels, caregiving coping skills, and well-being. Multiple expert nurses in the fields of gerontology, public health, and psychiatric nursing will review and refine the content of the training modules, thus ensuring the relevance and effectiveness of the training modules for informal caregivers. Informal caregivers and individuals with dementia will engage in the development and testing of the digital educational modules. Through rigorous evaluation, we will determine the effectiveness of the training program in promoting caregiver empowerment and enhancing outcomes for caregiving families. This study aims to fill the existing educational gap for empowering family caregivers in the community.
