Recommendations designed to reduce work-related stress and increase individual and organisational health and mental wellbeing will be developed. Part of the project is a consensus-building workshop that took place in November 2023.
Employees from the customer success management departments at the partner companies Motion Miners GmbH and CENDAS GmbH were invited to participate in these workshops, which were jointly moderated by Maria O'Malley and Aine O'Donovan from the Mental Health and Wellbeing Institute of University College Cork as well as Taskeen Iqbal and Dr.-Ing. Christian Ahlfeld from the Chair of Industrial Sales and Service Engineering at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. The primary focus of this workshop was to explore the origins of stress, assess current stress management practices, and identify potential interventions aimed at improving overall health and well-being. During this workshop the participants reflected on the sources and scale of work-related stress and developed stress management strategies.

The workshop fostered meaningful discussions and insights, contributing significantly to our collective understanding of these crucial subjects. The findings from the workshop will guide the identification, development, and implementation of an evidence-based intervention to reduce stress and build resilience.
