International Evenings at the University of Oulu

University of Oulu has organized International Evenings aimed at bringing together the members of the university community, to meet each other, build networks, have art and cultural experiences. These events have been free and open to all community members, including domestic and international individuals (such as staff and doctoral researchers), of the University of Oulu. One of the evenings was organized in the Botanical Gardens of Oulu on 10.06.22. The program of the mentioned date can be seen below, as an example.

Event Program:

15:30 Doors open; 15:45-16:25 Guided greenhouse tour (alternative option: time for free networking, light snacks and drinks are offered to all the guests); 16:30-17:15 Live music performance by the international string quartet formed by members of Oulu Symphony Orchestra; 16:30-18:00 Craft corner and games for children; 17:15-18:30 Photobooth with a professional photographer; 17:30-18:30 Family-friendly gardening activities (you will be able to take your plants home); 17:15-19:00 Time for free networking, light snacks and drinks are offered to all the guests; 17:15-19:00 Info on how to get involved in international event organizing on our campuses and the possibility to suggest events for the next academic year (event info point at the entrance).
