Aging Well Together in Liège

This one-week summer school brought together academics, specialists and members of civil society active in various fields including health sciences, nursing, gerontology and gerontechnologies, well-being, intergenerational solidarity and migration, leisure for the elderly, communications and engineering, architecture and urban planning, epidemiology, cognitive functions, participatory design, etc.

Stakeholders have worked together in a cross-disciplinary way on the issue of ageing well in urban settings, particularly in post-industrial contexts, to design solutions geared towards end-users, and reflect on paths for future research and socioeconimic development in that regard. A total of 26 students joined this summer school completely free of charge.
