UNIC Cross-Care Hackathon: Bridging Cities to Transform Health

The Cross Care Hackathon is a challenge-based learning event bringing together students from multiple UNIC universities to design solutions for healthcare innovation.

You will:

🔸Work in international teams

🔸Engage directly with healthcare professionals and stakeholders

🔸Develop ideas through interviews and feedback

🔸Build a prototype concept

🔸Present your solution in a final pitch session

The hackathon combines entrepreneurship, research, and real-world problem solving in an intensive and collaborative environment.

This programme is for: 

Bachelor students from all faculties at UNIC partner universities who are interested in innovation, entrepreneurship, healthcare challenges, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Programme Overview

Online Kick-Off – 14 April (10:00-12:00)

2-Day In-Person Training in Rotterdam – 18–20 May

Day 1: Introduction, team ideation, customer journey mapping, engagement with stakeholders.

Day 2: Mentoring and review, prototyping, pitching, and reflection.

Admissions and Fees

🔸Eligibility: Bachelor students from all UNIC universities (no business background needed). 

To receive potential ECTS credits, please consult your university's policy.

🔸Application deadline: 3rd April 2025, registration on a rolling base. 

🔸Cost: Free of charge.

🔸Travel and accommodation: Check with your local international and UNIC office.
