In a series of online lightning talks organized by UNIC during International Mother Language Day, participants delve into the theme "Cultivating Inclusive Societies: How to navigate linguistic diversity effectively.
The speaker of the second Lightning Bites session was Liisa Väisänen, a Finnish teacher at the Centre for Languages and Communication Lingua, University of Oulu. During her Lightning Bites, Liisa shared some practical case examples of how international members of the community have been helped to learn the local language at the university.
