An extensive yet concise brochure on Family Friendliness is created by the IDEA Center in order to provide guidance on maternity rights, both pre- and postpartum, while also highlights care and parenthood rights. An emphasis is put on work-life balance, guiding our parent-to-be colleagues through this turbulent life stage. By providing this comprehensive brochure, we remain very vocal about our employees' right, raise awareness about it, start the conversation as the employer on possible needs (ex: flexible working hours) and cater to them, while acting as a contact point for feedback and further inquiries on this topic within the university.
This brochure is actively provided to management and employees when certain live events occur. It provides leadership a tool to guide conversations about work-life balance and new phases in live of employees.
