The population of foreign origin is not seen as a problem.
The impact of the migratory reality in the city is positively valued.
The perception of the climate of coexistence and relations in Bilbao's neighbourhoods in 2019 obtained a high pass mark (5.88).
The Tolerance Index shows a relevant improvement (56.69% in 2017 and 59.09% in 2019).
The City Council's Immigration Policy (II Citizenship and Diversity Plan) is generally unknown to the majority of the autochthonous population, although the degree of awareness of its existence has increased from 9.3% to 27.2%.
